Eddie Ortiz
A graduate from Northeastern Illinois University, Eddie Ortiz has nearly 30 years of experience with event production, bookings, tour management, and recently, record production and music publishing. Prior to launching Eddie Ortiz & Associates/Access Latin Entertainment, he worked for many years with Henry Cardenas (now CEO of CMN) at Cardenas/Fernandez and Associates (which at that time was the largest Hispanic production company in sports, music, and other special events in the U.S. and the Caribbean). While there, Eddie Ortiz worked in all aspects of production: planning, developing, media buyer, stage manager, bookings, tour management, and marketing.

While on tours or productions with artists, Eddie Ortiz worked in well known venues in the U.S.: Madison Square Garden, Universal Amphitheatre, Chicago Amphitheatre, Chicago Theatre, Allstate Arena, Coliseo Roberto Clemente, American Airlines Arena, Anaheim Convention Center, House of Blues, Hard Rock Café, Orlando Convention Center, and Amway Arena, among others.
In 2007, Eddie Ortiz added another service by incorporating “Buen Oido Music”; a publishing company representing singers and songwriters, registering songs, and collecting royalties. Buen Oido Music is registered with ASCAP and BMI.
In 2009, Eddie Ortiz became a record producer as well. As an executive producer, he was responsible for the financial costs associated with producing the album “El Mundo Gira” (label: Zamora Music Group/Sony music) as well as coordinating the recording process and selection of songs recorded by Voz a Voz.
