Ismael Miranda

Ismael Miranda was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico. Since he was a little kid he was already showing his interest for music. By the young age of 11 he was already part of different groups like “The 4 J’s” and “Little Jr. & the Class Mates”. With the pass of time his curiosity for the music kept developing showing especial interest in the Afroantillian genre, and he was part of the groups “Pipo y su Combo” y del grupo” Andy Harlow y su Sexteto” this last one was also an opportunity to show his interest by playing the bongos. 

Today, Ismael Miranda is the most recorded salsa singer in the world. His work has won different kinds of awards including three Grammy nominations, 8 gold albums, 1 Platinum and countless of International honors. After all this years his voice is intact being one of the few singers that after more than 40 years of career has not needed to change the tune of his songs to be able to sound the same . He has a solid and loyal fan base that keeps growing not only with a mature crowd but gaining the respect of younger fans as well
